He has served in various leadership roles including: President of RG Insurance Services, Inc., where he pioneered a revolutionary insurance product; Vice President of Hillwood Investments, a Perot Company, where he developed and managed a US$100 million real estate fund in Japan; Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Lending with Archon Financial, a Goldman Sachs Company; and investment and fund management with the Lone Star Opportunity Fund, Key Corp/Key Bank, The FDIC and Fidelity Investments. Christina Wu joined the Dallas Police & Fire Pension System in 2008 as an Investment Analyst, and was named Investments Manager- Real Assets in January 2013. Prior to coming to the Pension System, Christina worked for over ten years in high tech companies in the areas of project/program management, ERP systems implementation, and business analysis. Christina’s education includes Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Texas A & M University, Master of Science in Biochemistry from Kansas State University, and Bachelor of Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai, China.

Prior to WorthPointe, Joshua earned accolades at TD Ameritrade, where he served in a variety of roles including manager, responsible for over $2B in assets. He also led the national training and development program for all of TDA’s new advisors and managers and won a national coaching award. Known as a talented public speaker since giving his graduation speech at Brown University, Joshua was leveraged by TDA to teach skills classes to its entire advisor force and travel the country extensively to represent the firm. He taught on stage in front of thousands of beginning and intermediate investors, and also educated sophisticated investors who paid to learn trading and charting techniques from him. Joshua earned his B.A. from Brown University and his M.S. from Salve Regina University. He is a Chartered Market Technician® (CMT®) and a Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®). Joshua has come a long way since growing up the son of a minister on a farm in rural Alabama. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and singing, coaching his nephews in sports, taking his Beagle puppy, Pippa to the park and struggling at golf.

A Stitch in Time was born in a delivery room. The women who brought the organization to life are gynecological health care professionals, three surgeons and a nurse-midwife, who met through work and affiliations with Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. The work led to friendship, and the realization that they were all active international medical volunteers with a shared commitment to making gynecological health care universally available to women in need. That commitment led to the birth of this new NGO.

Our name, A Stitch in Time, suggests that timely repairs go a long way to preventing more serious damage, and we think the notion holds true for global health care for women. In addition to the work in Bangladesh, we have begun to develop a new relationship with a remote hospital in Guatemala and we need your support to help us move forward.

We commit our time, our skills and our own money to the cause, but we need help paying for transportation and supplies. Your contribution will go directly to support these missions and to changing women’s lives.
